Mission
In Raffles House, our mission
is to educate the whole child, to provide a firm foundation in the
pursuit of excellence in academic, character, value system and social
responsibility. We want our children to find joy in lifelong learning,
to be a competent, analytical and confident communicator.
Our Philosophy
We believe every child can learn and
wants to learn. Each child is unique and carries a gift. A child's
first few years of formative development are highly significant
to his future development. At Raffles House, we believe that we
are touching lives and therefore strive to provide the highest quality
child-centered curriculum that focuses on the intellectual, social,
emotional and physical development in a caring, cheerful and secure
environment surrounded with qualified and passionate educators.
Our Methodology
In Raffles House, children learn through
integrated and interactive experiences, which allow them to imagine,
explore, reason and communicate. Our learning foundation is based
on a thematic approach guided by clear learning objectives and supported
by fun and objective driven, hands-on learning centers. A good balance
of Play and Structured Methodology is an important, natural and
integral part of learning in Raffles House. Children are taught
by language specialists. Our motivation is the education of the
whole child, with competency, confidence in learning and communication.

In Raffles House, our philosophy centers on a common goal for all
parents, regardless of which cultural and social groups we belong
to. Our goal is to educate the whole child. What this means is that
we look at education not only as a method to equip the child with
depth and a wide range of knowledge, but we are also committed to
building a strong value system and a passion for life-long learning
in each child. At the crux of it, we believe the ability to deliver
really depends on the quality of our curriculum, the values and
training of our teachers and our ability to actively seek advice
from educational experts and learning institutions. Our responsibility to deliver quality early childhood
education is spelled out with clear individual learning objectives.
We have the task of ensuring that our children are well equipped
to take on the increasingly challenging syllabus in primary schools
with a great passion for life long learning. Learning must therefore
be fun and challenging. We have chosen to call our school Raffles
House Preschool, not only because the founders were all from Raffles
Girls' Secondary or Raffles Institution. More importantly, because
our vision is to build a premier preschool, in line with the accomplishments
and strong heritage that the name has come to be associated with,
in the education services
